Case Study: interactive document
CLIENT: Center for Domestic Peace
PROJECT: "Grow Forward: Building Lasting Organizational Capacity for Organizations Ending Violence Against Women" PDF document.
CLIENT'S OBJECTIVE: Educate future workshop leaders by documenting challenges learned from past workshops, and goals for the future.
CRITERIA: The document had to be both printable and interactive with loads of custom graphics.
SOLUTION: I created hyperlinks in InDesign; when the document was saved as a PDF, users could skip to specific pages from the contents, and from within the document.
DESIGN FEATURE: The "5 Keys for Growing Forward" became a color-coded graphic, with a simplified icon version of the main graphic on each of the 5 section openers, and design elements color coded to the section color.
