about
Throughout my journey, I've embraced a wide range of art and design opportunities. Working with an exhibit design firm for many years, I developed an expertise in designing environmental graphics for natural history and educational exhibits. Later on, brand identity projects tailored to the needs of non-profit organizations and emerging businesses became the main focus of my design work.
I've always been enamored with architectural and interior design. So after many years in graphic design, I took a position as a space planner and home stylist in the retail sector, helping clients create their own beautiful and functional living spaces. The hands-on experience helped me understand more about the psychology of interior design. It motivated me to pivot my career, and I'm currently working toward an Interior Design Certificate. Apart from the more technical aspect of design, I design my own original patterns for both sewing and crochet, and have sold my handcrafted work in stores and at local events. It brings me joy to be a part of the maker community, share the artistry of traditional craftsmanship with others, and see their appreciation for it. |
Heather was an exceptional addition... She brought great creative strength and very clever designs. She was able to integrate opposing viewpoints and provide us with excellent direction. I highly recommend her for her talented graphic design.

Heather's output towards our objectives was beyond expectation. She has a unique ability to take a variety of input and conceptualize and respond with many creative [logo design] submissions that were spot on. She is great and a delight to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Heather on wayfinding signage for The Ruth Bancroft Garden. She did a superb job interpreting our concepts to create just what we wanted, and always in a professional and timely manner.
