Heather's background includes graphic design, interior design, fine arts and traditional crafts. She has designed comprehensive interpretive and environmental graphics programs for internationally recognized natural history, nature centers, civic and public educational organizations, and brand identity for non-profits, groups and individuals in the arts. Her graphics can be seen on the 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, South Carolina Aquarium, Cleveland Botanical Garden, and others. She has worked for Williams-Sonoma Inc. as Design Specialist/Home Stylist with Pottery Barn Corte Madera. Her ability to visualize and create in both 2D and 3D lead her to design textile products including bags, accessories and head-wear, working with vintage and modern materials.
Heather studied graphic design at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, fine art and multimedia at Marin Community College, and is currently working toward an Interior Design Certificate at Santa Rosa Junior College. |
