Description:
Getting ready to sell your handmade products can be a little daunting. You want to make a good impression, and that means everything from the quality of the workmanship to making it visually appealing to the people you plan to sell to. I have designed and sold numerous products in the past 5 years, and helped tweak designs for other designers/craftswomen. My entire family has made and sold their art in one form or another. Bring your products into the studio for an objective eye and tips on how to simplify or expand on your idea. After you have worked out the kinks, I invite you to come back; I will be offering do-it-yourself photography, product branding, and craft fair booth/table arrangement workshops. |
The more the merrier:
I'm happy to supply a bottle of wine for an evening critique for a few of your fellow artisan friends. Have them sign up and bring their products and an hors d'oeuvre! You might also like these workshops:

Example photos (above)
#1 (visors): I put a lot of work into the wide brimmed visor to make it effortless in style and fabrication. Each piece has a different fabric, but together they look like a cohesive collection.
#2-3 (bags): My first foray into selling crafts was making handbags and totes. Many hours and variations were tested to settle on the a design standard that was all mine. People still tell me how much they love the bags they bought from me years ago.
#4 (fortune cookie): Lucky Takeout was my first complete exercise in "packaging" one of my creations. The "fortune cookie" is packaged in a plastic takeout style container with round label. Inside the box is crinkled red confetti paper, and the cookie has surprise fortune inside.
#5 (stonz): I invented the Stonz in 2013, and they have been my best-selling product yet. People love them because they are simply cute and relatable.
