This workshop is for the DIY-er who wants to design their own personal stamp to use on tags, packaging, gift wrapping, or art projects. We will spend time brainstorming, sketching, refining, simplifying, and ultimately ordering a rubber stamp. You can work on a graphic image that represents something about you or your work, or develop a custom monogram based on your initials or signature.
Some things to ponder before you begin: If this is for your business, how you want to be perceived as the designer of your product or service? Does your work fulfill a specific niche? If it is for yourself, what is your personality? Are you a nature lover or a city lover? These are the types of questions will help determine the look and feel of your stamp. |
Skills
This workshop requires basic drawing skills; your image will be hand-drawn, however on the last day we will scan your final drawing so you can take it home on your flash drive, then take it to the rubber stamp maker. Materials Bring a flash drive to take home your final scan, or we will email it to you later. Can kids join? Kids age 13 and up are welcome to join. |
